Education is the key to success; yeah that’s the theory we have been inculcated with.by appointed.gh
But evidently, spending time in the classroom is not the only avenue which leads to success as these celebs clearly illustrate in this write-up.
These Ghanaian celebrities dropped out of school but as fate may have it, became successful in whatever path they charted for themselves.
Others decided to go back after being successful just to ‘polish up’.
Let’s see who make up our list in this interesting article.
#1. Kwaw Kese
The man insane is one of the most successful rappers in Ghana. He has won several awards and is considered one of the richest artistes around.
However the farthest Kwaw Kese went as far as education is concerned is senior high school.
He has no university or any tertiary certificate to his name.
#2. Shatta Wale
Shatta Wale needs no introduction. With several local and international awards and several properties to his name, Shatta Wale is arguably the richest artiste in Ghana.
Our research reveals he is a graduate of Winneba Senior High School but couldn’t continue any further.
#3. Omar Sterling
Rapper Paedae aka Omar Sterling reportedly dropped out of school at Senior high school for reasons we are yet to establish.
But as it stands now, he’s making it big in the industry and we all know it.
#4. Delay
Delay is one of the few successful celebs we have in this country. She has the ‘in-your-face’ kinda personality and that’s where her growth and popularity hinge on.
According to what we gathered, Delay attended Methodist University and just two months before her graduation, she dropped out.
The controversial TV and radio personality, whose real name is Deloris Frimpong Manso said she attended school because of the pressure from society and that she had no real interest in formal education.
#5. Sarkodie
Ghana’s most commercially successful artiste of all time; that’s King Sark for you.
The iconic rapper went to Achimota Preparatory School and later proceeded to Tema Methodist Day Senior High School.
That’s how far he went although he has insisted in a previous interview that he went to IPMC where he obtained a degree in graphic designing.
As you can clearly, education is not always the key to success
