COVID-19: Government announces a dedicated website to update Ghanaians

The government of Ghana has made frantic decision to put up a dedicated web portal to update Ghanaians on the Novel Coronavirus.

According to the Information Minister, the site will be updated every six hours to give Ghanaians and the media credible information on issues surrounding the virus.

The portal is http://ghanahealthservice.org/covid19/.

The Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah announced at a government press briefing on Sunday, March 15, 2020.

He urged the media and Ghanaians to stop speculating over the outbreak and to resort to the website for periodic updates.
