Election 2020 is drawing nigh and as usual, politicians are making hefty promises which they know in their hearts that they may never ever be able to fulfill them.
But because they need to make use of sweet words in other to make the electorates vote for them, they end up saying things that do not make sense but we just have to pretend that we believe them.
Well, actor and politician John Dumelo have made one of such hefty promises.
According to him, he’ll provide 1 scholarship for each student in his constituency — the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency when voted into power.
He made this known in an interview with Ola Michael on Neat FM’s Entertainment GH.
John Dumelo stated as a matter-of-factly that he piloted this policy way back in 2012 so it won’t be difficult for him to deliver.
He also promised to give a soft loan to his constituents to expand their business dubbed ‘One Business One Loan’.
John Dumelo emphasized that education, sanitation and security remains a top priority for him as an aspiring Member of Parliament.
We live to see what happens when he finally gets voted into power.
