Award-winning Ghanaian movie producer and director, Socrate Sarfo has made a very profound statement pertaining to the reason why movies should not be sold to television stations.
According to the renowned movie maker in an interview on Pluzz FM, movies given to television stations usually end up in reducing the value for money invested in the movie production.
Socrate in his submission made reference to some incidents that took place with a certain media firm, where movie producers were in talks with the firm to sell their movies at a certainly reasonable figure.
Unfortunately, the initial deal with the producers took a new twist as the amount agreed apparently reduced drastically to the disadvantage to the movie makers.
He further reiterated that the highest movie industry which is Hollywood also suffered the same fate.
