Cantankerous private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has descended heavily on Sammy Gyamfi who happens to be the National Communication Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi.
According to Mr. Ampaw, the young politician is causing the NDC a great deal of a problem in opposition and that his (Sammy Gyamfi) utterances do not auger well for a major political party hoping to be in government.
Mr. Ampaw on the Wontumi TV explained that the recent disrespect and egoism that Sammy Gyamfi vented on Kwame Sega Katie, is a serious matter the NDC party would need to resolve if it hopes to win political power. He added that such media platforms as Peace FM cannot be discounted for being very instrumental in political communication.
“Look at what Sammy Gyamfi did over the weekend, throwing himself on Kwame Sefa Kayi. A big platform like Peace Fm and you are there disrespecting the brand. How would Ghanaians take you seriously and vote for you to come to power? So, when you get the power is this what you will do to Ghanaians,” he mentioned.
He took the opportunity to entreat the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be mindful of their actions as well, adding that “power is transient”.
“Bear in Mind that, Nana Akufo Addo will not stay in power forever so the NDC must prepare well in opposition to take over when the time comes” Lawyer Ampaw stressed.
