Angel FM’s morning host, Captain Smart has acknowledged the late Santo, saying he is the greatest Ghanaian actor of all time.
According to him, since the actor joined his ancestors, the Kumawood industry has produced many actors and actresses who have contributed to the rise of the movie industry yet the legacy Santo left behind will forever be a scar in the heart of Ghanaians.
Captain Smart made this known while telecasting a short video of the actor translating English to Twi.
“May his soul rest in peace. His memories shall never be forgotten and his legacies will last forever. No Ghanaian actor can match be matched with him.” He said.
Historically, John Evans Kwadwo Bosompem also known Bob Santo or Santo as his stage name was a Ghanaian comedian. He featured in movies speaking Akan. He usually acted with his close compatriot, Judas.
